This grid-tie solar calculator generates a Solar Electricity Analysis that will allow you work out how many solar panels you will need to create a theoretical 'carbon neutral' building, where you sell surplus energy you make from your solar panels to the electricity utility company and then buy energy from the utilities when your system is not generating enough power in the evenings. The analysis takes into account your electrical requirements, your geographical location and the likely position of your solar panels.
The analysis document is e-mailed to you and provides approximate costs for getting a system installed.
This grid-tie solar calculator is designed to work in conjunction with The Solar Electricity Handbook.
